Why I’m Trying SEEN’s Frizz + Repair Treatment Mask

Share this :

If there’s one thing summer does to my hair, it’s test its limits. Between humidity, sun exposure, and heat styling, frizz and dryness seem inevitable. I’ve been hearing great things about SEEN’s Frizz + Repair Treatment Mask, so I finally decided to give it a try.

Full disclosure: I’m new to using SEEN, so I’m still in the “getting to know you” phase with this product. I’ll definitely follow up after I’ve used it longer to share a more in-depth review. But here’s what initially drew me in—and why I’m already impressed with the ingredient list and formula.

Two Ways to Experience It

One thing I love right off the bat? You can choose between Fragrance Free or Lightly Scented versions:

  • Fragrance Free: Perfect if you have sensitivities, prefer no added scent, or want something that won’t compete with your perfume.
  • Lightly Scented: Features fresh notes of apple dew, orange peel, and leafy greens for a clean, uplifting finish.

Both are dermatologist-designed, vegan, cruelty-free, and safe for sensitive, acne-prone, or eczema-prone skin.

What It Claims to Do

  • Fight frizz and help repair damage in as little as 5 minutes
  • Strengthen hair (up to 2.7x stronger after one use)
  • Smooth and soften without weighing down strands
  • Seal split ends and prevent future damage from heat styling
  • Provide color and keratin-safe protection

Star Ingredients:

  • Hemisqualane: A plant sugar-derived alternative to silicone for frizz control and heat protection
  • Squalane: Adds moisture, shine, and softness
  • Moringa Oleifera: Repairs and strengthens dry, damaged hair
  • Bisabolol: Naturally derived and skin-soothing

How to Use

After shampooing, squeeze out excess water and apply a generous amount, focusing on mid-lengths to ends. Distribute evenly, leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse. Use once a week or more often for very dry or damaged hair.

Pro tip: If your hair is especially dry, textured, or processed, follow with SEEN Conditioner or Deeper Conditioner for an extra boost of softness.

Why I’m Excited to Keep Using It

Even without a long history using SEEN yet, I’m drawn to this mask because it addresses frizz and repairs damage—two issues I’m always juggling. I also love that it’s safe for both my hair and my skin, which isn’t always the case with treatment masks.
